“Cosign” is the latest Kwaito-inspired summer single from Korea-based international rap duo, Part Time Cooks. Over the zesty production from Durbanite, Scotty Soul, Black Moss and Saul Goode celebrate rising from the mundane 9-to-5 to living out their dream and paying the bills as hip-hop artists in a foreign country. From grumpy old shop owners in Seoul, to high school hip-hop heads in Durban S.A, PTC has been connecting their home bases through each release with one of the most interesting stories in hip hop. Cheerful party chants throughout the track pay tribute to South African Kwaito music and Doc Shebelza’s classic hit, ‘Jiva Yoyo.’ Part Time Cooks are back with a heater for the summer, South Africa stand up.
